Sou um arquitecto formado em 2002 pela universidade Lusiada de Famalicão, tendo realizado estágio profissional na Câmara Municipal da Maia. Posteriormente concluí a parte curricular do Mestrado em Historia Medieval e do Renascimento na Faculdade de Letras do Porto.

I’m a architect graduated from Lusiada University, having completed the curricular part of the Master Degree in Medieval and Renaissance at Faculdade de Letras do Porto - FLUP .

História Medieval

Porquê história medieval?” bem,

é uma paixão, e as paixões dificilmente se explicam! :)

Acho fascinante tentar perceber como era o mundo à 900 anos atrás, a sua estrutura, os seus sistemas, descobrir realidades tão diferentes da nossa e outras surpreendemente tão próximas.

Why medieval history? well, it’s a passion! and they are usually quite hard to explain! :)

For me it’s fascinanting try to understand how the world was 900 years ago, their strucure and way of living. It’s interesting to find out that some realities where completely differents while others maintain the same all this time.

O programa pedia um bar moderno, com um ambiente fresco e confortável, a ser executado num terreno estreito, entre uma estrada e um campo de ténis. O resultado é um bar que se projecta sobre a esplanada, unindo espaço interior. Este volume central é um elemento de referencia para equilibrar toda a composição. Fotografias por: Sónia Arrepia

It was required a comfortable and modern space for sunny afternoons and lazy nights, in a tourist area, near the beach.

The project explored a cartesian reduction, almost classical, in its constructive dimensions, with a central wall balancing the composition while permitting a change of environment.
